Commemorating 10 years since the Rana Plaza collapse
On the 24th of April 2013, the Rana Plaza building, which housed five garment factories, collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh killing over 1,100 people and injuring over 2,500 people. We’re here to mark the tenth anniversary of that tragic event to remember those who lost their lives but also to discuss how this was a defining moment in the evolution of assurance and social responsibility in the region.
